Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak. Cook for 2-3 min on each side, or until done to your liking. Remove from the heat. Let the steak rest for 2 min.
Then thinly slice the steak.
Peel the parmesan into ribbons, if not using grated parmesan.
In a small bowl, whisk together a drizzle of olive oil & the prepared pesto sauce.
Smear the pesto onto a serving plate. Arrange the salad greens & steak slices over top. Add the parmesan shavings. Garnish with pine nuts (optional). Season with salt & pepper. Enjoy!
