Summer on a plate! Grilled peaches are a sweet & delicious addition to a tasty caprese salad.

Stovetop, Frying pan, Pot (small), Knife

Peach (fresh)
Olive oil

Step 1

Cut the peach around the pit & slice into wedges. Drizzle the peach wedges in olive oil & set aside.

Mozzarella (fresh)

Step 2

Slice the mozzarella into thin rounds.

Beef (strip steak)

Step 3

Pat the steak dry. Season all over with salt, pepper & any additional seasonings you love! Drizzle oil over the steak & rub to coat.

Step 4

Preheat a grill or grill pan on medium-high heat. Add the steak & peach wedges. Cook the peaches & steak for 3-4 min, undisturbed. Flip everything. Cook the peaches for another 1-2 min, then remove from the heat. Continue grilling the steak for another 2-3 min, then remove from the heat. Rest the steak for 3-5 min before serving.

Brown rice (long grain, cooked)

Step 5

Meanwhile heat the rice according to package directions.

Basil (fresh)
Balsamic glaze

Step 6

Plate the rice & steak. Build the Caprese salad by alternating fresh mozzarella, grilled peaches & basil. Top with balsamic glaze & season with salt. Serve & enjoy!
