Summertime in a sandwich! Enjoy this tasty crab sandwich straight from the Chesapeake Bay :-)
Knife, Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Wash & finely chop the celery.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, add the chopped celery, lump crab meat, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, egg, breadcrumbs, seafood seasoning & a dash of worcestershire sauce if you have any. Stir until everything is well combined.
Step 3
Using your hands, form the crab cakes into patties.
Step 4
Coat the bottom of a skillet in vegetable oil. Heat the oil on medium heat, then add the crab cakes. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 min. Flip & cook for another 4-5 min or until the crab cakes are golden brown.
Step 5
Cut the lemon into wedges (optional) & toast the buns.
Step 6
Assemble the sandwiches: top the toasted buns with lettuce if you have any. Add the crab cake, top with tartar sauce & add the top bun. Serve with the lemon wedge & chips on the side. Enjoy!
