Broccoli (fresh)

Step 1

Be sure to follow the pie crust package instructions! Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wash & trim the broccoli. Cut it into small florets.

Cook the broccoli in a pot of salted boiling water for 2 min.

Pie crust (ready-to-bake)

Step 3

Lay the pie crust in a pie or tart pan. Pierce it several times with a fork. Pre-bake it for 5 min.

Drain the broccoli.

Egg
Milk (whole)
Sour cream

Step 5

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sour cream, milk, salt & pepper.

Step 6

Remove the crust from the oven.

Arrange the broccoli in the bottom of the quiche.

Bacon

Sprinkle the finely chopped bacon over top. (It can be cooked or raw!)

Milk (whole)

Step 9

Pour in the egg-milk mixture.

Cream cheese

Step 10

Top with dollops of cream cheese. Season with salt & pepper.

Step 11

Bake for 30 min at 400°F, or until the filling has set. Let cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!
