Pasta (linguine)

Step 1

In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. When the pasta is done, set aside a small ladle of cooking water, then drain the pasta.

Tomatoes (canned, crushed)
Italian seasoning

Step 2

Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, over medium heat. Add the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning & salt & pepper to taste. Gently crush the tomatoes using a spatula. Cover & cook for 4-5 min.

Tuna (canned)
Black olives (pitted)

Step 3

Add the drained tuna, olives & reserved pasta water. Mix everything together & cook for another 1-2 min.

Basil (fresh)

Step 4

Serve the linguine with the tuna tomato sauce & black olives. Top with fresh basil, if you have any & re-season to taste. Enjoy!
