Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Thinly slice the cheese.
Step 2
Melt a dab of butter in a pan over medium heat. Toast the bun slices for 1 min.
Step 3
Set aside the buns. Add the burger patties to the same pan & cook for 3 min.
Step 4
Turn over the burgers & top with the sliced cheese. Reduce the heat to low, cover & cook until the cheese has melted.
Step 5
To make the sauce, mix the ketchup & mayo in a small bowl.
Step 6
Add a splash of whiskey, cognac or white wine vinegar to the sauce for zing (optional)!
Step 7
Spread the sauce over the buns. Lay the burgers over top. Add the sun-dried tomatoes & a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Close the sandwiches & enjoy!
