Stove top, Frying pan
If not pre-sliced, cut the cheese into slices.
Add 1 tsp of butter to a hot frying pan. Once melted, toast the bun slices (interior sides down) in the hot frying pan for 15 to 30 seconds.
Set the toasted bun slices on a small plate. Add the burger patty to the same pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on the first side.
Flip over the burger & top with sliced cheese. Cover the pan & cook until burger reaches your preferred level of doneness.
To make the sauce, mix the ketchup & mayo in a small bowl.
Add 1 tsp of whiskey, cognac or white wine vinegar to the sauce for extra zing!
Place cooked burger on the bottom bun. Spread the sauce on the top bun. Place 2 sun-dried tomato slices & a sprinkle of fresh parsley over the cheese covered burger. Top with the saucy bun & enjoy!
