No plate needed for this hand-held antipasto sandwich!
Stovetop, Frying pan, Spatula, Knife
Step 1
Spread pesto over each slice of bread.
Step 2
Thinly slice the mozzarella. Top half the bread slices with cheese.
Step 3
Layer the prosciutto & arugula over the cheese. Season with salt & pepper. Close the sandwiches.
Step 4
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the sandwiches for 2 min on each side. Use a spatula to press the sandwiches as they cook. The sandwiches should be melty & golden brown.
Step 5
Cut the sandwiches in half or quarters. Serve hot & enjoy!
