Try this restaurant-quality burrata pasta, you'll WOW your friends & fam :-)
Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Pot (large), Frying pan, Knife
Step 1
Peel & thinly slice the shallot.
Step 2
Wash & chop the broccoli florets into small pieces.
Step 3
Add a drizzle of oil to a skillet on medium-high heat. Add the ground sausage (sausage links work too, just remove the casing!) Break up the meat with a spatula. Add the sliced shallot to the pan & cook for 6-8 min or until the sausage is well browned.
Step 4
Meanwhile, in a pot of boiling, salted water, add the pasta. Cook according to package directions.
Step 5
Add the broccoli to the pan with the sausage. Cover & cook for an additional 3-4 min.
Step 6
Drain the pasta.
Step 7
Uncover the skillet, season with salt, pepper & red pepper flakes if desired. Add the pasta & parmesan cheese. Stir to combine. Remove the skillet from the heat.
Step 8
Serve the pasta topped with burrata. Season to taste & top with additional parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
