Step 1
Wash & thinly slice the tomato into rounds.
Step 2
Halve the bagel.
Step 3
Peel & thinly slice the onion into rings.
Step 4
Toast the bagel to your liking then spread an even layer of cream cheese on both halves.
Step 5
On the bottom half of the bagel, lay the smoked salmon. Top with sliced tomato, a few rings of red onion & a sprinkle of capers (optional). Add some cracked pepper if you wish. Close bagel sandwich & slice in half. Serve & enjoy!
Add cucumber for some extra crunch & switch up your cream cheese for added flavor: try scallion, jalapeño or veggie cream cheese!
