Frying pan, Stovetop, Pot (small), Knife
Step 1
Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. Halve the chicken lengthwise.
Step 2
Heat a drizzle of oil on a pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken. Season with salt & pepper. Sear undisturbed, 5-7 min on each side, until fully cooked (internal temp reaches 165°F). Transfer to a plate or cutting board.
Step 3
In a pot of salted, boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Strain the pasta.
Step 4
Slice the chicken.
Step 5
Add the pasta to the same pan over low heat. Add onion powder, pesto & parmesan cheese. Mix it all together.
Step 6
Add in the sliced chicken. Mix it all together. Add the peas, stir & cook 2 more min.
Step 7
Serve hot, topped with more parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
