Stovetop, Knife, Frying pan, Pot (large)

Garlic

Step 1

Peel & mince the garlic.

Broccoli (fresh)

Step 2

If needed, cut the broccoli into florets. In a pot of salted boiling water, add the broccoli & cook for 4-5 min. When finished cooking, drain the broccoli.

Brown rice (long grain, cooked)

Step 3

Heat the rice according to package directions.

Meatballs (cooked)
Olive oil

Step 4

Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs & brown on all sides until the meatballs are fully heated through, about 6-8 min.

Teriyaki sauce
Honey

Step 5

Add a few tablespoons of water & the minced garlic to the pan. Cook until the water is mostly evaporated, about 1 min. Then, add the teriyaki sauce, honey & an additional few tablespoons of water. Cook for 2-3 min until the sauce is thick & bubbly. Remove from the heat.

Step 6

Serve the meatballs & broccoli on a bed of brown rice. Top the dish with the garlic-teriyaki sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds if you have them. Enjoy!
