Step 1
Add the butter to a saucepan & let it melt over low heat. Add the flour & quickly whisk it in.
Step 2
Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly, until the texture is like slightly thick pancake batter. Season with salt, pepper & a little grated nutmeg (optional). Mix to combine & it's ready to use!
