Étape 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Press the block of tofu between a kitchen towel to soak up most of the moisture.



Étape 2
In a mixing bowl, add taco seasoning, soy sauce & 1 tbsp of olive oil per serving. Mix it all together.

Étape 3
Using your hands, crumble the tofu into the mixing bowl. Add rinsed & drained black beans then mix it all together.
Étape 4
On a parchment-lined sheet tray, spread the tofu mixture in an even layer. Bake in the oven at 400°F for about 15-20 min. The texture should become slightly firm but not crunchy & dry.

As the mixture bakes, rinse & small dice the tomato.


Étape 6
Halve an avocado & remove the pit. Scoop the avocado into a small bowl & mash with a fork. Squeeze in lime juice. Season with salt & pepper. Mix well to combine.
Étape 7
Remove the tofu crumble from the oven.


Étape 8
On warm flour tortillas, spread an even layer of mashed avocado. Layer on a few spoonfuls of the tofu crumble. Top with shredded lettuce & diced tomatoes. Squeeze lime juice on top & enjoy!

Spruce up these tacos with your own combination of seasonings or even add your favorite creamy sauce on top!
