A flavor-packed pizza without the heavy crust!
Knife, Sheet Tray, Frying pan, Oven, Stovetop
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Add a drizzle of olive oil to a parchment paper-lined sheet tray.
Step 2
If necessary, drain the roasted bell peppers & cut into thin strips. Set aside.
Step 3
Cut the sausage lengthwise, then peel off the casing.
Step 4
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan. Add the sausage & brown for 2-3 min while breaking up the meat into small pieces. Don't worry if it's fully cooked or not - the sausage will keep cooking in the oven!
Step 5
Add the cauliflower crust to the prepared sheet tray. Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the crust, leaving a 1-inch border. Top it with shredded mozzarella, roasted bell peppers & sausage.
Step 6
Place the sheet tray in the oven & bake the pizza at 425ºF according to package instructions, for about 12-15 min or until the crust is golden brown & the cheese is melty.
Step 7
Remove the pizza from the oven. Cut the pizza into 4 or 6 slices. Top with fresh basil (optional). Serve & enjoy!
