Preheat the oven to 450°F. Arrange the pizza dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet. (If using puff pastry, pierce the surface all over with a fork.) Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, lemon juice, half the lemon zest, salt & pepper.
Peel & thinly slice the avocado.
Take the crust out of the oven. While still warm, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over top, leaving a border around the edge.
Top with torn pieces of smoked salmon, avocado, arugula, remaining lemon zest & a drizzle of olive oil. Season to taste with salt & pepper. Eat up!
