Saucy, spicy and oh so cheesy... all the elements of a buffalo chicken pizza are on deck!
Make sure you have...
Oven, Sheet Tray, Knife
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 450ºF. Peel & thinly slice the red onion.
Step 2
Carve the rotisserie chicken, remove the skin & shred the meat.
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, add the shredded chicken & half of the buffalo sauce.
Step 4
Dust a clean surface with flour. Add the pizza dough to the surface & gently press in the center of the dough with your fingers, making your way to the edges. Stretch the dough with your hands until it's about 12-15 inches wide. Shape the dough as desired.
Step 5
On a baking sheet turned upside-down, add parchment paper. If you have a pizza steel, use that instead! Place the dough on top of the baking sheet & reshape if needed. Top the dough with the chicken & buffalo sauce mixture. Spread it evenly, leaving a 1 inch boarder for the crust.
Step 6
Top with the sliced red onion, remaining buffalo sauce & mozzarella cheese. Place in the oven & bake for 25-30 min or until the crust is golden brown & the cheese is bubbly & melted.
Step 7
Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven & drizzle the pizza with the blue cheese dressing. Garnish with additional sliced red onion & fresh herbs if you have any!
Step 8
Slice the pizza into even pieces & serve immediately. Enjoy!
