Step 1
Prep the rice according to package instructions.
Step 2
Peel & finely dice the onion.
Step 3
Cut the chicken into bite-sized cubes.
Step 4
Heat a dab of butter on a pan over medium-high heat. Add in the onions. Sauté for 3-4 min until slightly translucent.
Step 5
Add in the diced chicken. Stir & cook, browning the meat for about 4-5 min.
Step 6
Pour in the sauce & stir to evenly coat the chicken & onions. Simmer everything on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked, about 6-8 min.
Step 7
Serve the saucy butter chicken in a bowl over fluffy basmati rice. Garnish with fresh herbs if you have! Enjoy!
