A flavorful takeout classic that you can easily make at home!
Stovetop, Frying pan, Knife, Pot (small)
Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into cubes. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
Step 2
Add the cubed chicken & flour to a bowl. Season with salt & toss to coat the chicken evenly.
Step 3
In a small bowl, add the soy sauce, brown sugar & orange (zest & juice). Grate in the ginger & garlic. Whisk to combine.
Step 4
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan on medium-high heat. Add the chicken & cook for 7-8 min or until the chicken is cooked through & lightly browned on all sides.
Step 5
Meanwhile, in a pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets & cook for 5-6 min or until the broccoli is tender. Drain & set aside.
Step 6
Once the chicken is cooked, add the prepared sauce. Stir & cook for 3-4 min or until the sauce is thick & bubbly. Remove from the heat.
Step 7
Heat the rice according to package instructions.
Step 8
Plate the rice & top with the broccoli & saucy chicken. Serve & enjoy!
