Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Frying pan, Food processor, Blender, Knife
Step 1
If grilling the steak, preheat the grill to medium high. Crack an egg & separate the yolk from the white. Add the yolk into the base of a food processor. (A blender works too)
Step 2
Add in dijon mustard & lemon juice. Pulse to blend until well-combined.
Step 3
Peel garlic & add to the mix. Pulse to combine.
Step 4
Continue pulsing & slowly pour in the olive oil. Continue blending until thick & creamy, about 30 sec.
Step 5
Remove the lid. Season with salt & pepper. Add grated parmesan cheese. Pulse again until well-combined & creamy. Refrigerate until serving.
Step 6
Heat a drizzle of oil on a grill pan over medium-high heat. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel. Season all over with salt & pepper. Grill the steak, undisturbed, 5-6 min per side for medium rare. Transfer the grilled steak to a cutting board & rest.
Step 7
Clean & halve the head of romaine. Add a drizzle of olive oil on the cut side of romaine. Place the romaine cut-side down on the grill. Char for 2-3 min. Remove from heat.
Step 8
Carefully slice the steak into thin strips.
Step 9
In a serving bowl, add grilled romaine, sliced steak & croutons. Top with creamy Caesar dressing. Serve & enjoy!
