Garlic

Step 1

If necessary, thaw the shrimp, then peel & devein it. Next, peel & finely chop the garlic.

Olive oil

Step 2

Add a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan on medium-low heat. Add the garlic & cook for 1-2 min until the garlic becomes fragrant. You don't want to brown the garlic, so lower the heat if needed.

Raw shrimp

Step 3

Add the shrimp to the pan & season with salt & pepper. Cook for 3-4 min on each side until the shrimp is pink & thoroughly cooked.

Brown rice (cooked)

Step 4

Meanwhile, heat the rice according to package directions.

Italian dressing
Spring mix lettuce

Step 5

Add the lettuce, rice & shrimp to a plate. Top everything with garlic & olive oil from the pan. Dress the salad with Italian dressing. Serve & enjoy!
