Ingredients

Utensils

Stovetop, Frying pan

recipe

Olive oil
Meatballs (cooked)

Step 1

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs. Cook according to package instructions, or until they are heated through & brown on all sides. About 5-6 min. Transfer the meatballs to bowl.

Pasta (orzo)
Italian seasoning

Step 2

In the same pan, add orzo, Italian seasoning, water (3/4 of a cup per serving) & salt. Stir & cook until most of the water is absorbed, about 5-7 min.

Spinach (fresh)
Heavy cream

Step 3

Reduce the heat. Mix in the spinach & heavy cream. Continue cooking & stirring until the orzo is fully cooked, thick & creamy. About 2 more min. At this stage, add your favorite seasonings to taste! We love oregano & chili flakes for some spice!

Meatballs (cooked)
Parmesan (grated)

Step 4

Add the meatballs to the creamy orzo & mix it all together. Turn off the heat & stir in grated parmesan cheese.

Step 5

Serve hot in a bowl & enjoy!
