Step 1
Add the tomato soup to a saucepan & warm over medium heat.
Step 2
Meanwhile, spread the mayonnaise evenly onto one side of each slice of bread.
Step 3
Flip the bread to the side without mayo & add 2 slices of provolone cheese. Close the sandwich with the second piece of bread, mayo side facing out.
Step 4
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sandwich. Cook undisturbed for 3-4 min. Flip & cook for another 3-4 min or until the bread is golden brown & the cheese is fully melted. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
Step 5
Slice the sandwiches & serve with tomato soup. Enjoy!
If you want to jazz up this classic grilled cheese, the options are endless. Make it your own by adding bacon, tomato, avocado, pesto or whatever your heart desires!
