Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add the ground beef. Season with salt & pepper. Stir & cook, breaking up the meat with the spatula for about 5-8 min or until the meat is no longer pink.
Step 2
Add a drizzle of olive oil to a parchment paper-lined sheet tray. Place the flatbread on the tray & top with the cooked ground beef, leaving a 1-inch border.
Step 3
Top the beef with the sliced cheddar cheese & place in the oven. Bake for 6-8 min until the cheese is melty & the flatbread is golden brown.
Step 4
Meanwhile, peel & finely dice the red onion. Wash & small dice the tomato.
Step 5
Remove the flatbread from the oven & top with the shredded lettuce, pickles, tomato & onion. Drizzle the burger sauce on top. Cut into 4 pieces, serve & enjoy!
