Pot (small), Stovetop, Frying pan, Knife

White rice (long grain)

Step 1

Cook the rice according to package instructions. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork.

Green beans (frozen)

Step 2

In another pot of salted, boiling water, cook the green beans for about 3 min. Drain & set aside.

Chives (fresh)

Step 3

Rinse & chop chives (optional).

Salmon (fresh)
Barbecue sauce

Step 4

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Season with salt & pepper. Arrange the salmon on the pan skin side down. Brush with barbecue sauce & sear 6-7 min, flipping halfway through.

Step 5

On a plate, serve the salmon with the rice & green beans. Add a drizzle of olive oil & garnish with chives (optional). Enjoy!
