Step 1
Roughly chop the mint.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, allspice, cumin, mint, salt & pepper. Add minced or grated onion & garlic. Mix it all together.
Step 3
Roll the mixture between the palms of your hands to form oval-shaped meatballs.
Step 4
Heat a generous drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs. Cook for 2-3 min on all sides, or until cooked through.
Step 5
Toast the pita bread (optional).
Step 6
Spread the yogurt over a serving plate. Add a drizzle of oil. Season with salt & pepper. Arrange the meatballs over the yogurt. Garnish with extra mint (optional). Serve with pita. Enjoy!
