Saucy ground beef quesadillas made in a flash. So good, you won't want to share!
Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef. Cook for 3-5 min, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Step 2
Add the salsa to the beef & mix to combine. Like it spicy? Add some chili pepper, cayenne or hot sauce!
Step 3
Remove the pan from the heat. Spread the beef-salsa mixture over half of each tortilla. Top with the sour cream & shredded cheese. Add fresh cilantro (optional).
Step 4
Fold each tortilla in half.
Step 5
Add the folded quesadillas to a dry pan over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 min on each side, or until crisp & golden brown.
Step 6
Cut each quesadilla into 3 or 4 wedges. If you like, garnish with extra lime, sour cream or salsa. Enjoy!
