Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Slice off the stem & dark green leaves of the leeks. Cut the remaining sections into 5-inch long pieces. Rinse thoroughly.
Step 2
Add the leeks to a pot of salted boiling water. Reduce the heat to low. Cover & cook for 5-7 min, or until fork tender.
Step 3
Drain the leeks. Slice them in half lengthwise.
Step 4
Add half the leeks in a snug layer to a greased baking dish. Season with salt & pepper. Top with half of the cream & cheese. Add all of the ham, torn into pieces. Season with salt & pepper. Top with the remaining cream & cheese.
Step 5
Bake for 15-20 min at 400°F, or until the top is golden brown. Serve & enjoy!
