A simply delicious recipe to feed family & friends as a main course or as an app!
Oven, Sheet Tray, Knife
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Unroll the dough & spread out the mustard leaving 1 inch empty from the edge.
Step 2
Add the ham slices.
Step 3
Spread crème fraîche on the ham, then sprinkle everything with shredded cheese. Add salt & pepper.
Step 4
Fold in two edges of the dough, then roll it into a log.
Step 5
Line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Add the rollup. In a small bowl, beat 1 egg. Brush the egg wash all over the rollup. Use a fork to pierce a few holes in the dough.
Step 6
Sprinkle grated parmesan over the rollup (optional). Bake in the oven for 15-20 min at 425°F, or until the outside is golden brown. Pro tip: check on the crust occasionally, every oven heats at a different pace!
Step 7
Remove the rollup from the oven & allow it to cool for several min. This will help the filling firm up inside. Use a serrated knife to slice 1-inch thick rounds. Serve some creamy dijon & crème fraîche dip if you wish. Enjoy!
