Red onion

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Peel & finely chop the red onion.

Olive oil

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the red onion & sauté for 1-2 min, until slightly translucent.

Ground beef

Step 3

Add the ground beef. Cook for 3-5 min, breaking it into pieces with a spatula.

Taco seasoning

Step 4

Once the meat is nearly cooked, add the taco seasoning & a splash of water. Mix to combine. Reduce the heat to low & simmer for 3-5 min, then remove from the heat.

Taco Shell

Step 5

Arrange the taco shells on a sheet tray. Heat in the oven for 3 min until warm & toasty.

Lime
Sour cream

Step 6

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, lime juice & a pinch of salt. Mix it all together.

Mexican cheese blend
Salsa
Shredded lettuce

Step 7

Add a few spoonfuls of beef to each taco shell. Top with shredded lettuce & cheese. Add a dollop of lime-sour cream & salsa if you wish. Enjoy!
