Brioche bread (sliced)

Step 1

Cut the brioche bread into 1 - 2 inch cubes.

Egg
Nutmeg (ground)
Brown sugar (light)
Heavy cream
Vanilla extract
Lemon

Step 2

Crack eggs into a bowl. Add vanilla extract, nutmeg, a pinch of salt, brown sugar & heavy cream. Zest in 1/2 a lemon. Whisk it all together.

Cooking spray
Blueberries
Brioche bread (sliced)

Step 3

Grease a baking dish (use one appropriate for number of servings) with baking spray or melted butter. Add the cubed bread & spread evenly. Sprinkle in the blueberries & pour the batter over top. Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hr & up to overnight.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Allow the dish to sit out of the fridge while the oven heats. Then bake 35-40 min, until golden brown.

Powdered sugar
Maple syrup

Step 5

Top with powdered sugar & syrup (optional). Enjoy!
