recipe

Butter (unsalted)

Step 1

Preheat your waffle iron. Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat. You could also melt the butter in the microwave!

Sugar (granulated)
Butter (unsalted)

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the butter & sugar.

Egg

Step 3

Crack the eggs into a large bowl. Whisk the eggs. Add the sugar & butter. Mix it all together.

Flour (all-purpose)
Baking powder

Step 4

Add the flour, baking powder & a pinch of salt to the bowl. Mix with a few swift strokes.

Milk (whole)

Step 5

Then slowly add the milk. Gently fold the ingredients together. Be careful not to over mix the batter!

Step 6

Use a pastry brush or paper towel to carefully grease the waffle iron with oil. Cooking spray works great here too! Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour the batter into the hot waffle iron. Cook until golden & crisp, or according to your waffle iron settings.

Powdered sugar

Step 7

Continue making waffles with the remaining batter. Serve garnished with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
