Tahini
Hoisin sauce
Chili crisp
Five spice powder

Step 1

In a small bowl, add the hoisin sauce, chili oil, five spice powder & tahini. Whisk together & set aside.

Green onion (scallions)

Step 2

Rinse & thinly slice the green onion. Separate the white & light green parts from the darker green parts.

Olive oil
Ground pork

Step 3

Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add the ground pork & season with salt. Break up the pork & cook until its no longer pink, about 3-4 min.

Step 4

Add the white & light green slices of the green onion to the skillet. Stir & cook until the pork is well browned, about 3-4 min. Remove from the heat.

Wheat noodles

Step 5

In a pot of boiling water, cook the noodles according to the package directions. Reserve about 1/2 a cup of the cooking water per serving. Drain the noodles.

Step 6

Add the cooking water to the bowl with the prepared sauce. Stir together. Add the sauce to a serving bowl. Place the cooked noodles on top. Then, top the noodles with the cooked pork & the remaining green onion.

Step 7

Mix the noodles & spicy sauce together. Serve the noodles with additional chili oil if desired. Enjoy!
