This rich, savory ragu tastes like it simmered all day!
Make sure you have...
Knife, Frying pan, Pot (large)
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel & small dice the onion.
Step 3
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion & sprinkle with salt. Cook 4-5 min, stirring often, until the onion softens.
Step 4
Add the ground pork. Season with salt, pepper & any additional spices you love (we recommend garlic powder & Italian seasoning here!). Cook 4-5 min, stirring & breaking up the pork into small pieces with a wooden spoon.
Step 5
Stir in the marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer & cook for 5-6 min to blend the flavors & thicken the sauce slightly.
Step 6
When the water boils, add the spaghetti & cook until al dente. Reserve a ladle of cooking water before draining the spaghetti.
Step 7
Add a splash of cooking water to the ragu & stir to combine. Add the drained spaghetti & mix to coat the spaghetti in sauce. Remove from the heat.
Step 8
Serve the spaghetti, sprinkled with parmesan & garnished with fresh parsley (optional). Enjoy!
