Step 1
Clean & thinly slice the scallions (optional).
Step 2
Clean & trim the green beans.
Step 3
Peel & mince the garlic.
Step 4
Add a drizzle of olive oil to a frying pan over medium heat. Add frozen dumplings flat-side down & cook for 3-4 min until golden brown.
Step 5
Pour in water (2 tbsp per serving) & cover with a lid. Let steam for 5-6 min until the dumplings are cooked through. Remove the lid & let any remaining water evaporate. Transfer dumplings to a plate & set aside.
Step 6
In the same pan, add another drizzle of olive oil. Add the green beans & cook for 3-4 min over medium-high heat until slightly blistered but still crisp.
Step 7
Add the soy sauce & garlic, stirring quickly to coat the green beans. Let cook for 1-2 min, then push the green beans to one side of the pan.
Step 8
Transfer the dumplings to the other side of the pan & re-warm if necessary.
Step 9
Serve the dumplings & green beans with extra soy sauce for dipping. Drizzle with chili oil & sprinkle with thinly sliced scallions, if using. Enjoy!
