Creamy caramelized onions give this pasta dish a warm hug :-)
Stovetop, Pot (small), Knife
Step 1
Peel & thinly slice the onions.
Step 2
Melt a dab of butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the onions & grate in the garlic cloves. Season with salt & pepper, then brown everything for 12-15 min while stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add the white wine & stir until the wine has reduced.
Step 4
Add veggie stock (or a veggie bouillon cube with water) & bring to a boil on medium-high heat.
Step 5
Add the pasta. Stir & cook for the time on the package directions (about 8-10 min).
Step 6
A few min before the pasta is finished cooking, add the heavy cream & grated parmesan. Stir to combine.
Step 7
Serve the pasta in a shallow bowl & garnish with extra grated parmesan & chopped parsley, if you have any. Enjoy!
