Make sure you have...

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Slice the chicken sausage into 1/4-inch rounds.
Step 2
Wash the peppers & remove the seeds. Then slice the peppers. (Use yellow, red & green peppers for more festive color!)
Step 3
Peel & thinly slice the onion.
Step 4
Add the chicken sausage, peppers & onion to a parchment-lined sheet tray. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper & Italian seasoning. Toss well to coat.
Step 5
Transfer to the oven & cook for 20-25 min, until the sausage is nicely browned & the veggies are softened.
Step 6
Garnish with fresh basil (optional). Serve & enjoy!
To make this meal more filling, serve the chicken sausage & veggies with rice, pasta, or tucked into a roll!
