Preheat the oven to 450°F. Cut the tomatoes in half or quarters, depending on their size.
Place the pizza dough on a baking sheet & spread the pesto evenly over top, leaving a border around the edge. If using mozzarella, add it now, torn into pieces. If using burrata, add it after removing pizza from the oven.
Arrange the tomatoes over the pesto. Season with salt, pepper & a drizzle of olive oil. Bake for 10 minutes.
Take the pizza out of the oven. If using burrata, add it now, torn into pieces. Garnish with fresh basil leaves (optional). It's pizza time!
