White rice

Step 1

Cook the rice according to package instructions. (Making the rice the night before is even better!)

Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces.

Flour (all-purpose)

For better browning, dredge the chicken in flour (optional).

Thread the chicken onto skewers.

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken skewers.

Cook the chicken skewers for 3-5 min, turning frequently.

Teriyaki sauce

Drizzle half of the teriyaki sauce over the chicken. Cook for 2-3 min, spooning the sauce over the chicken.

Sesame seeds

Sprinkle the skewers with sesame seeds (optional). Remove the skewers from the pan & cover to keep warm.

White rice

In the same pan, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Add the rice. Season with salt & pepper.

Peas (frozen)

Step 10

Add the peas. Add the garlic & stir fry for 1 min. Stir fry for 2 min, or until all is heated through.

Teriyaki sauce

Step 11

Serve the skewers over the fried rice. Garnish with more teriyaki sauce (optional). Enjoy!
