Soy sauce
Sugar (granulated)
Butter (unsalted)

Step 1

Be sure to follow the puff pastry cooking instructions! Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a pan over medium heat, add the soy sauce, sugar & butter. Cook, stirring until the sauce reduces & caramelizes.

Wash & halve the baby tomatoes.

Step 3

Line a round baking dish with parchment paper.

Pour the sauce into the baking dish. Arrange the tomatoes in a single layer over top.

Lay the sheet of puff pastry over the tomatoes, folding in the edges to form a crust.

Prick the dough several times with a fork. Bake for 25 min at 400°F, or according to the package instructions.

Step 7

Once golden brown, remove the tart from the oven. Allow to cool for 5 min.

Step 8

Place a serving plate over the pan. Holding it firmly in place, swiftly flip over the tart.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves (optional). Slice & enjoy!
