Jasmine rice

Step 1

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Set it aside to cool. (Refrigerating it overnight is even better!)

Garlic

Step 2

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add crushed or minced garlic. Cook, stirring for 1 min.

Ginger (ground)

Step 3

Add a pinch of ginger powder or a bit of freshly grated ginger (optional). Stir to combine.

Jasmine rice

Step 4

Add the chilled rice. Stir fry for 2 min.

Soy sauce

Step 5

Add the soy sauce & stir. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir occasionally as you fry the eggs.

Step 6

Heat a drizzle of vegetable oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the cracked eggs.

Cook the eggs sunny-side up until done to your liking.

Green onion (scallions)
Sriracha sauce

Step 8

Serve the rice topped with fried eggs. Drizzle with Sriracha or your favorite hot sauce. Garnish with chopped scallions. Enjoy!
