Slow cooker, Pot (small)

Pork shoulder (butt)
Cumin (ground)
Taco seasoning

Step 1

Cut the pork into large chunks if needed. In the base of a slow cooker, add the pork, cumin, taco seasoning, salt, pepper & 2 cups of water. Mix it all together. Cover & cook on high for 4 hr.

Rice (white, long-grain)

Step 2

Cook rice according to package instructions. Fluff cooked rice with a fork & set aside.

Avocado

Step 3

Halve the avocado & remove the pit. Thinly slice.

Step 4

Uncover the slow cooker & transfer the meat to a bowl. Use two forks to shred the pork.

Black beans (canned)
Salsa
Shredded lettuce

Step 5

Serve the pulled pork over a bed of fluffy rice. Top with beans, lettuce, salsa, avocado & a squeeze of lime if you have. Enjoy!
