Stovetop, Pot (large), Frying pan, Knife

Yellow onion

Step 1

Peel & finely chop the onion.

Garlic

Step 2

Peel & finely chop the garlic.

Step 3

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add the onion & cook for 3-4 min or until the onion begins to soften. Add the garlic to the pan, stir & cook for another 1-2 min.

Ground turkey

Step 4

Then, add the ground turkey to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper & Italian seasoning (if you have any). Stir & cook for 6-8 min or until the turkey is no longer pink.

Marinara sauce

Step 5

Add the marinara sauce to the pan. Stir & lower the heat to a simmer. Cook undisturbed for 8-10 min.

Pasta (rigatoni)

Step 6

Meanwhile, add the rigatoni to a pot of salted, boiling water. Cook according to the package instructions. Strain the pasta & set aside.

Parmesan (shaved)

Step 7

Plate the cooked pasta & top with the turkey bolognese. Garnish with the shaved parmesan & fresh basil, if you have any. Enjoy!
