Stovetop, Blender, Pot (small), Colander, Frying pan


Yellow onion
Oregano (dried)

Step 1

In a food processor or blender, combine the fresh tomato, onion, garlic, oregano & olive oil. Season with salt & pepper. Blend to purée.

Step 2

Pour the sauce into a pan & simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

Pasta (pappardelle)

Step 3

Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions.


Step 4

Drain the pasta & add to the saucepan. Mix to coat with the marinara sauce. Garnish with grated parmesan, a drizzle of oil & fresh basil leaves (optional). Mangia!
