Start the day with something sweet! Rich chocolate & tart raspberry - mmm
Stovetop, Pot (small)
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the oats, chia seeds, milk & maple syrup. Cover & refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Step 2
Just before serving the overnight oats, break the chocolate into pieces, add to a microwave-safe bowl & microwave at 20-sec intervals, stirring between each burst until the chocolate is smooth & melted.
Step 3
Add the raspberries to a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat for 4-5 min, until the berries are defrosted & jammy. Stir & crush the berries with a wooden spoon as they cook.
Step 4
Add the chilled oat mixture to a bowl & smooth the top with a spoon. Layer the crushed raspberries on top.
Step 5
Pour the melted chocolate in a thin layer over the raspberries. Leave to cool for 10 min so that the chocolate hardens. Serve & enjoy!
