Ingredients

Utensils

Stovetop and Frying pan.

Recipe

Jasmine rice

Step 1

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the rice according to the package instructions. Drain when cooked.

Egg

Step 2

In a bowl, crack the eggs. Season with salt & pepper. Whisk the eggs.

Ham (deli slices)

Step 3

Cut the ham into pieces.

Step 4

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan, over low heat. Add the eggs & cook while stirring delicately with a spatula. They should remain a bit runny, not fully cooked through.

Peas (frozen)
Soy sauce

Step 5

Once the eggs are cooked, add a bit of oil if necessary. Add the cooked rice, green peas, ham & soy sauce. Stir & continue cooking for 5 min.

Step 6

Serve the Chinese fried rice on a plate or in a bowl. Re-season to taste & enjoy!
