Step 1
In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese & truffle oil. Season with salt & pepper.
Step 2
Spread the cream cheese onto each slice of bread.
Step 3
Arrange slices of cheese over the cream cheese. Add a slice of ham to half of each sandwich. Close the sandwiches.
Step 4
Melt a dab of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the sandwiches. Cook for 2 min on each side, or until golden brown.
Step 5
Turn off heat, cover the pan & let sit for 1 min.
Step 6
Slice the sandwiches into thirds.
Step 7
Garnish with fresh chives (optional). Enjoy!
