Red apple

Step 1

Peel, core & slice the apples into wedges (any type of apple will do!).

Butter (unsalted)
Sugar (granulated)

Step 2

Add the butter & sugar to a pan over medium heat. Mix until the butter is melted & the sugar is dissolved.

Red apple

Step 3

Add the apple wedges & cook over low heat for 15 min, turning occasionally, or until the apples are golden brown.

Cinnamon (ground)

Step 4

When the apples are done cooking, add a pinch of cinnamon & stir once more. Then remove from heat.

Sour cream

Step 5

Add a smear of sour cream to a plate. Arrange the caramelized apples over top. Sprinkle with an additional pinch of cinnamon (optional). Yum!
