Pineapple (fresh)

Step 1

Trim the ends of the pineapple & cut off the skin. Slice the pineapple into wedges lengthwise.

Butter (unsalted)
Sugar (granulated)

Step 2

Melt the butter with the sugar in a pan over medium heat. Stir to combine.

Pineapple (fresh)
Lime

Step 3

Add the pineapple slices to the pan. Squeeze the lime juice over top. Cook for 3 min on each side, basting the pineapple in the sauce. Be sure the caramel does not burn.

Coconut ice cream
Lime

Step 4

Serve the warm pineapple topped with scoops of coconut ice cream. Garnish with grated lime zest. Enjoy!
