A burger with bacon, BBQ sauce & a side of onion rings? YES please :-)
Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Oven, Frying pan, Sheet Tray
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place frozen onion rings on a parchment lined sheet tray & bake according to package directions, about 15-20 min.
Step 2
In a pan on medium heat, cook the bacon for 2 min on each side or until crisp to your liking. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towel.
Step 3
Form burger patties with the ground beef using your hands, about 3 inches in width.
Step 4
Heat a drizzle of oil on a pan over medium-high heat. Season burger patties with salt & pepper. Add the patties to the pan & cook undisturbed for 4 min each side for medium rare (or cook to your desired doneness).
Step 5
Place bacon & cheddar cheese on top of the burgers. Cover & cook for an additional 1-2 min to melt the cheese. Remove the onion rings from the oven.
Step 6
Toast the burger bun if desired. To assemble the burger, add barbecue sauce to the bottom the bun. Add lettuce, the burger patty & top with additional barbecue sauce. Serve with onion rings & enjoy!
