Prepare the sparkling water in your soda maker! Store bought is fine too! In a shaker, add 8 basil leaves per person & the gin. Gently crush everything with a pestle.
Juice the lemon into the shaker.
Add simple syrup & ice cubes. Close the shaker & shake it all up.
Fill 75% of a glass with ice cubes. Set a small strainer over the glass & pour the cocktail through.
Add a splash of sparkling water & garnish with basil leaves. Enjoy!
